"Computer Viruses: How to Reduce Your Risk"
Write-protect your floppy disks anytime you use them in someone else's computer.
"To write-protect the disk, slide the black tab so that it makes the hole visible."
Use and update anti-virus
software regularly (one of which is included in this CD-ROM - see the Software
page).
Scan any newly received disk
for viruses before using it.
To reduce the chance of getting
a boot virus from a floppy disk, change your computer's boot-up sequence to start
with "C" drive first, then "A" drive.
Assume every disk or file you
receive is infected with a virus until it is scanned.
